Yesterday I was introduced to scuba diving 🤿 gear! It was so weird. I could breath under water 😮
That’s right I took a Bubblemaker class! What’s a Bubblemaker class for you ask? Great question! A Bubblemaker class is a class where you are introduced to the basics of scuba diving.
First thing I had to do was learn some cool and sad facts about the ocean. Did you know that there are floating islands made out of plastic on the ocean? Only about one percent of that plastic is able to float! It’s so sad 😠Can you believe that we humans can do so much harm to our innocent planet 🌎 and it’s poor creatures! You can help keep the planet clean too. If you use reusable items instead of plastic when you can, you are helping keep the oceans clean!
Next I learned how to use some of the scuba gear like the air tanks and the fins. Then I had to take a test about the things I learned about. After that, I put on my gear and headed to the practice pool. We played some games and I learned some basic techniques. Next time I ’ll do a more advanced class and do it with my Pappy.

You are so brave. And this is so cool! I’ve always been interested in learning to scuba dive so I’d love to hear more about your experience with this. I also agree about the damage we have done to our oceans- SO sad! You are helping effect change by spreading the word and doing your part. Have you seen my octopus teacher?
